This book is very cute but very sad. Having a baby brother or baby sister is exciting until the unexpected happens. This family goes through a terrible loss. The loss changes the entire family and everything you imagined is now changed and different.
Once someone gets excited about having a sibling it is extremely hard when you find out that the baby didn’t make it. This is a hard time on the entire family, everyone is sad, and life doesn’t feel the same. I found some comfort in this book, as this is how we viewed our baby when lost him. We sent our star baby a balloon. The illustrations are really cute in this book.
I really hope no one goes through this, but if they do, I hope this book helps.
